The HAP is a 94-item questionnaire that was developed to evaluate the functional performance of individuals with COPD. Participants were asked to rate their ability to perform various oxygen demanding ADLs in one of three ways “Still Doing this Activity,” “Have Stopped Doing this Activity,” or “Never Did this Activity.” Based on the participant’s responses, two scores were generated: MAS represents the highest oxygen demanding activity participants can perform, the AAS represents the usual daily activities participants perform
