The FAMQOL was designed to assess the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of quality of life among caregivers of HF patients.The scale, which contains 16 items in total, can be used in part as physical (items 1, 5, 8 and 9), psychological (items 2, 3, 4 and 6), social (items 7, 10, 11 and 12) and spiritual (items 13, 14, 15 and 16) well-being subscales as well as general QoL.
