The FPI is a subjective measure of the performance dimension of functional status, based on an explicit analytical framework and the experiences of patients themselves. Consists of 65 items and 6 subscales (Body care (9 items), household maintenance (21 items), physical exercise (7 items), recreation (11 items), spiritual activities (5 items), social activities (12 items)).
