KOQOL consists of six areas (psychosocial health, physical health, work and family affairs, daily life, sexual relationships, relationship with food) with a total of 15 items. It assesses quality of life in relation to obesity. Each item is a 4-point Likert scale ranging from “absolutely not” (1 point) to “always” (4 points). The total maximum score is 60 points.
