The MISS-21 is a modified version of the MISS-29 and is a questionnaire of 21 items to measure patient satisfaction with an encounter with a physician or other primary care provider. Subscales: Distress relief, communication comfort, rapport, compliance intent. The patient is asked to indicate their level of agreement on a 7-point Likert scale, from 1 Very strongly disagree to 7 Very strongly agree; Higher scores are indicative of more dissatisfaction on a certain scale.
