The PRAISE is a 15-item scale is an adaptation of the General Self-Efficacy Scale, comprising 10 general and five pulmonary rehabilitation-specific self-efficacy questions to identify those with high self-efficacy who are more likely to achieve important health behaviour changes with pulmonary rehabilitation. Each statement on the scale is scored from 1 to 4, 4 being the highest level of perceived self-efficacy.
