The S-Weight and P-Weight are two self-report questionnaires respectively investigating the SOC and the processes of change defined by Prochaska and Di Clemente (1985). The P-Weight consists of 34 items measuring individuals’ readiness to engage in a diet and in physical activity. The questionnaire is based on the hypothesised processes which individuals use across the SOC in order to manage their body weight. Scores for each of the four processes of change can be calculated by summing up the scores obtained on items belonging to the same subscale.
