The Borg RPE scale is a 15 point scale (6 to 20) to assess subjective experiences during physical stress. This subjective load scale can help estimate load phenomena, such as the degree of exertion, exercise load and fatigue. The scale ranges from 6 (no effort) to 20 (absolute maximum effort) and provides useful information about the
relative load, as experienced by the patient himself. There is also a revised category-ratio scale, the Borg CR10 Scale. This is a scale from 0-10 is also used to measure the perception of intensity of any experience. Individual is asked to rate the intensity of the breathlessness, before, during and after excercise;
