The FSCRS is a 22- item self-report questionnaire in which participants are asked to rate how they typically think and react when things go wrong for them, in particular measuring tendencies to be self-critical and/or self- reassuring when perceiving setbacks/failures. Participants respond on a 5-point Likert scale (ranging from 0 = not at all like me to 4 = extremely like me).
